Rising Skills

Skill Development

Enhancing Opportunites for Better Prospects

Most of the skills of tomorrow’s workforce will be tech-related, although some non-tech skills stand out, according to LinkedIn’s 2019 Future of Skills report.

LinkedIn identified 10 ‘rising skills’, so-called because they have seen exponential growth in the last few years among professionals and will potentially see wide-scale adoption in the future. And the lack of talent with these skills is alarming. The skills that got you to where you are today aren’t going to be the same skills that you’ll need in the future. For instance, where the skill of software engineering management ranked highly in 2016 but came down the following year, skills like artificial intelligence (AI), big data and cloud computing have been climbing up the ranks in recent years.

We provide awareness session on these ten rising skills, identified by Linkedin-Social Media Marketing, Continuous Integration, Workflow Automation, Gesture Recognition Technology, Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence, Robotic Process Automation, Human Centered Design, Front End Web Development to increase employability of the youth in rural India. College students, drop outs are also sensitized about “Global Capabilities” and mapping of Knowledge, Skills and Attributes for ensuring lifelong success (Please refer to the following exhibit on Global Capabilities).

The Finanza Finesse Foundation shall be setting up an India International Skill Centre at Noida, Uttar Pradesh through the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) with the objective to provide skill training and certification bench marked to International Standards to facilitate overseas mobility of Indian workforce for jobs in Aviation Sector and Retail Sector.

The Team is also seeking Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) the flagship scheme of the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) to enable a large number of youth in rural Maharashtra and rural Madhya Pradesh to take up industry-relevant skill training that will help them in securing a better livelihood. Individuals with prior learning experience or skills will also be assessed and certified under Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Program by NSDC.
